Your Grace Is Enough

I usually wait until I feel genuinely inspired before I write. I believe that when I do, I can better express what my Divine Self wants to communicate through me. By placing myself in service to the divine, I feel I fulfill more fully what my existence is here for. And so. This time I had the great pleasure of sitting down. I took a deep breath and, through my own method, sensed that the Angels had something to share. They wished to share with me and everyone who follows me here in The Journal.

Angels are forces attuned to something so vast that we cannot fully grasp it within our human limitations. I don’t try to understand them completely. However, in the small fraction that is available to me, I do my best to translate their messages. I know they care deeply about the continuous expansion of God, the God that spiritualists like me believe in.

Archangel Haniel was the energy that touched me this time. I felt a strong call from her to speak about joy. I sensed that she truly needed me to do this. I had stepped away from my desk all weekend. I hadn’t written a word. Still, I felt her nudging me: come on, show up, don’t forget there are people who need to hear this. Don’t ignore this call. And so here I am.

Haniel is an archangel who carries an immensely powerful feminine divine energy. She connects to the softer, more nebulous energy of the subconscious. She relates less to the masculine mind, which is active, driven, and always awake. She connects to the rhythms of the inner self. She is linked to the subtle textures of inspiration. She also resonates with the moods that enchant and disenchant us every single day. It is she who, as it is said, holds the divine energy of joy—the true flame of inner happiness.

The world we live in today needs more and more of Archangel Haniel’s energy, and the divine knowing of the Creator’s grace. A knowing that is not born from intellectual or moral understanding, but from feeling oneself as divine. This angelic wisdom is essential — and deeply underestimated in a time when we are all endlessly chasing happiness through external pleasure. The kind of joy arrives in a flash through external things. These include people, objects, and media distractions. They are all the things we humans have grown so accustomed to reaching for. Who hasn’t thought, more than once, that an overpriced coffee from the nearest fast food chain would make everything a little better? Or felt genuinely excited waiting for a package that took three whole days to arrive after you bought it off TikTok? All of that is pleasant, no doubt. But it is nothing close to the joy that Archangel Haniel wants to inspire us to seek naturally. The joy of divine Grace should nourish all of us. It should draw us away from distractions that can never actually reach our essence. Because the essence must be expressed within divine grace.

Most people find it hard to understand that the verse “My grace is enough,” found in 2 Corinthians 12:9, speaks to the nature of a human being who is inexorably and irrevocably connected to the divine. When we recognize the grace within us, we become self-sufficient. We feel inspired and capable of expressing our most vibrant and pure nature in everyday life. This happens without force and strain. It is with the joy the angel speaks of.

And here is the point Haniel really wanted me to reach: this grace is not something you earn. It is not a reward for having meditated enough, made peace with everyone, finally organized your schedule, or cleared your inbox. Divine grace has no prerequisites. It simply is — the same way you simply are.

The problem is that we learned, very early on, that we need to deserve the good things. That real joy comes later — after the effort, after the struggle, after you’ve given enough of yourself. And so we spend years waiting for a “later” that never quite arrives, while feeding ourselves substitutes. The coffee, the package, the notification, the compliment, the achievement. Good things, sure. But substitutes.

Haniel didn’t come to tell me those pleasures are wrong. She came to remind me. Through me, she wanted to remind you. There is a source that never runs dry. One that doesn’t depend on the day, the mood, the bank balance, or how people treated you yesterday. A source that is right where you are now, reading this.

The question she leaves is not philosophical. It is practical: when was the last time you allowed yourself to feel joy without anything external causing it?

Maybe what you need to know this divine grace is to stop for a moment, take a deep breath — I can already feel you thinking: “he’s going to tell me to meditate… and then what?? That’s not going to change anything in my life!!” — and simply feel. We live so much on autopilot. We are so loaded with goals, deadlines, obligations, and desires. We have forgotten how to feel naturally. Sometimes we do feel something, but we immediately try to translate it, attach it to some external achievement, or worse, bury it under our insecurities, traumas, and fears.

But I promise you that if you try to feel, without any agenda, the simple fact of your own existence — even for just a minute or two — you will understand the grace I am talking about. Breathe, and feel. Really feel. Now ask yourself: what if that alone is enough? And I mean that. What if just this is enough to bring you into a state of lasting contentment? Simply remembering to feel?

The “law of attraction practitioners” on the internet tell you that you “need to feel it as real” — but do they actually know how to teach you to feel yourself first? Can you feel your own essence? Or are you so numbed by the noise of the external that you can’t even conceive of the fact? There is something inside you that simply wants to know it exists. Existing is good, you know. It means you know what awareness is. Only after you learn to feel will you find the joy that Haniel brings. And only when you graduate into that feeling will you be able to truly “manifest” the things you want. Or maybe you will feel yourself so deeply that you’ll realize what you wanted was what someone else wanted — what the ads wanted you to feel.

I know this should be the simplest thing in the world. But after everyone became completely addicted to online anesthesia, it turned into a PhD-level undertaking. Trust me on that.

But here is my new age recommendation: breathe. Stop. Feel. And then you remember: I exist, I can feel. Oh — there’s something here. That’s right, that’s my identity. I Am! Is that what the esoteric masters were talking about? I think so. Keep breathing… Now you can ask, sincerely:

Archangel Haniel, I know you are a divine force of a virtue I could never fully describe or feel, but I surrender and I ask: help me feel the grace within me, and to remember that I am divine, and that because of that alone, I am already happy. I am happy. I am happy. I am happy.

And let go. Now go on with your day, knowing that you truly exist. Not pretending, not trying to be the happiest person in the world while you wait for the subway. Just being, and being enough.
