A few weeks ago I pulled out a new tarot deck for a client’s reading. I almost sent it back the day it arrived. Thin cardstock, sloppy printing, the whole thing looked like it was assembled in someone’s garage. But it is holographic. Every card catches the light like it was pressed from an old CD.
I am a sucker for that kind of thing. Comes with the territory of the spiritual lineage I was raised in, which runs straight through gold, abundance, and water. Shiny wins, every time, quality be damned. So I kept the deck, and it turned out to give me one of the clearest readings I have done all year. Packaging tells you nothing about what is actually inside. Cards or people.
That client and I have worked together for years, mostly on the emotional side of his business decisions. This time he wanted something specific. A breakthrough. A sign. Something that would finally shift everything in his company.
What the Cards Actually Said
The reading did not point to something new. It pointed to something he already had.
He had already built a real opportunity. He had already manifested something impressive at a professional level, further along than most people ever get. But his attention was somewhere else entirely, fixed on the small gap between where he was and some imagined version of “arrived.”
I told him what I saw. The seed is already in your hands. The potential is enormous, and it is sitting right in front of you. What you are missing is not opportunity. It is the awareness to recognize the one you already have.
He sat with that for a moment, then said it made complete sense.
The seed is already in your hands. What you are missing is not opportunity. It is the awareness to recognize the one you already have.
Why Successful People Keep Missing Their Own Success
This pattern shows up constantly with founders and executives, and honestly, with almost everyone who is paying close attention to their own growth.
You hit a real milestone. Then, within days, your focus shifts to the next one. The achievement that felt enormous a month ago has a short shelf life. Give it a few weeks and it settles into the background, filed away as the new normal, while the mind is already out scanning for what comes next.
Social media accelerates this. You see someone else’s raise, their exit, their launch, and suddenly your own progress feels smaller than it did an hour earlier. Nothing about your business changed. Your perception of it did.
A Plan Built From Where You Already Stand
I asked my client a simple question. Sit down and actually plan what you want to manifest in one year, five years, ten years, with real intention behind it. Not a wish list. A conscious plan, built from where you already stand.
He liked that idea enough to take it further. He booked a ThetaHealing session with me, the kind where we go looking for the subconscious programming that keeps a person circling the same block instead of arriving. He has done this for years now, on and off, whenever life hands him a new layer to look at. It is maintenance work, the kind you return to for years, for a mind that was raised, like most of ours, to always want more before it lets itself enjoy what it has.
What a Law of the Universe Told Me About Talent
I want to tell you something I do not explain very often, because it is genuinely hard to put into English, or into any language honestly.
Years ago, in a mediumship meditation, I was in conversation with what I experience as the Laws of the fifth plane of existence. One of them, the Law of Talent, showed up to me as gold. I felt an actual sensation of warm, glittering gold, thick like honey, moving through the space around me. It felt abundant and unmistakably loving, the way gold in a vault feels calm and certain of its own worth.
That Law told me talent lives in whatever you do while smiling.
I am not asking you to believe the gold was literally there. I am telling you it was there for me, and that the message landed with a clarity I have rarely felt before or since. This is the part of my work that does not translate into a pitch deck, and I write about it anyway, because pretending it is not part of how I see business would make me a worse guide, not a more credible one.
The Compass You Traded Away
Here is why I keep coming back to that message with clients. Most people can point to something they were good at once. A thing they did before anyone paid them for it, before anyone graded it, before it had a job title attached. Then, bit by bit, most people abandon it. They just do it less. Then they do it without the smile. Then they stop altogether, until it becomes something they used to be good at instead of something they are. Output takes the seat where joy used to sit. Metrics take the seat where instinct used to sit. Somebody else’s definition of arrival ends up running the whole show.
When that happens, something strange follows. You lose the one internal compass that actually told you where you stood, so you start borrowing everyone else’s compass instead. Their milestones. Their pace. Their highlight reel. That is exactly the moment the drama shows up, dressed as ambition.
The Part Where I Get a Little Fired Up
Here is what happens to so many talented people, my client included. They stop smiling at their own work. The love for it is still there, buried somewhere, but the outside world got loud, and loud tends to win. Be more. Do more. Produce more. Hit the next number by the next deadline or fall behind.
That demand does not come from your soul. Your soul could not care less about your quarterly numbers. It wants your purest, simplest self at the wheel, because that self is the one that actually builds things worth building, not the frantic comparison your ego insists on keeping up with, or winning. Win against who, exactly? Half the time you cannot even name your competitor. You just know the scoreboard is somewhere out there on your phone.
So you stop looking at what the universe put directly in your hands today, something genuinely good, and you wait instead for whatever shinier thing you saw scroll past on someone else’s feed. I will say it plainly. Stop doing that.
My client heard all of this and told me he was going to carve out real time to simply notice what he has, live inside it, and be grateful for it. To follow his own heart more than the illusion his ego keeps selling him, the illusion built entirely out of drama and comparison. And yes, we will keep using ThetaHealing to work on whatever is underneath that pattern, the part of him still waiting for “something more” instead of recognizing the wonderful thing already in motion.
Here is the part I actually believe, deep in my bones, and I will not soften it. We are all a permanent work in progress. Whether we like it or not. Whether growth comes to us through love or through pain, if we are here, incarnated, on this earth, we are going to evolve. That is an old question, older than any of us, and I am not going to pretend I can fully unpack it in a blog post. But if you see the world anything like I do, you already know how this plane operates. You evolve the easy way, through willingness. Or you evolve the hard way, through consequence. And if neither one moves you, life has a way of relocating you to a plane that finally matches where your consciousness actually is. Nothing on this earth gets to stay frozen forever. Nothing.
The Real Question
So here it is, the same question I left him with.
Are you willing to walk your own path, grateful for what you already have, planting your seeds on purpose? Or are you still stuck in the illusion of the drama, waiting for a “more” that keeps you from ever arriving?
An Invitation
If This Sounds Familiar
A private Tarot and business guidance session is a good place to see clearly what you have already built, and what has been standing between you and actually feeling it. Come curious, come skeptical, come exactly as you are.
Book Your SessionFrequently Asked Questions
Is tarot actually useful for business decisions, or is it just entertainment?
Tarot doesn’t predict market outcomes. What it does well is surface what you already sense but haven’t put into words, patterns, blind spots, and the gap between what you say you want and what you’re actually doing. For founders, that clarity is often the real decision-making tool.
What is ThetaHealing, and how is it different from a tarot reading?
A tarot reading reflects your current pattern back to you. ThetaHealing goes further, working directly with the subconscious beliefs that keep a pattern running, even after you’ve intellectually understood it. Many clients use both together: tarot to see the pattern, ThetaHealing to shift it.
Why do successful people still feel like something is missing?
Because achievement resets your baseline almost instantly. A goal that felt enormous a month ago settles into “normal” within weeks of reaching it, and attention moves on to the next gap. This isn’t a flaw. It’s a habit of mind, and it can be worked with.
What does “manifestation” actually mean in a business context?
Stripped of the mystique, it means directing conscious attention and energy toward what you want to build, instead of unconsciously broadcasting doubt, comparison, or urgency. Planning with intention is manifestation. So is simply noticing and appreciating what you’ve already created.
How is this different from generic gratitude advice?
Most gratitude advice stops at “be thankful.” This goes one layer deeper: noticing what you already have changes what you broadcast, which changes what continues to show up. Gratitude here is a practical, energetic reset, not just a feel-good exercise.
Do I need to believe in tarot or energy work for a session to help me?
No. Many clients start skeptical and stay skeptical about the mechanism, and still leave with real clarity. The value isn’t in belief. It’s in the honest reflection the process creates.
What happens in a Business Oracle Guidance Session?
It’s a focused conversation, part reading, part strategic reflection, on a specific business question or pattern you’re facing. The goal is always clarity you can act on, not a vague prediction.
Is this a one-time fix, or ongoing work?
Neither, and both. Some clients come once for a single decision. Others return for years, the way you’d return to a trusted advisor or therapist, because growth isn’t a single event. It’s maintenance.
